We love the Shangri La Rasa Ria for the romantic location, the rainforest backdrop and for the wildlife sanctuary. The Rasa Ria is great for couples (especially in the luxurious Ocean Wing) but also for families.
Bear in mind that the Rasa Ria is 40 minutes by car from Kota Kinabalu and there is very little around or close to the resort with the exception of the golf course and extensive resort facilities.
