Neeleshwar Hermitage beach hotel is tucked in a palm grove in the tropical north Kerala. The private shore overlooks an expansive isolated beach. This resort features a beautiful landscape of rich vegetation and palm trees that surrounds traditional Kerala structures providing luxury accommodation.
Notable features of the resort consist of the infinity swimming pool complete with loungers at the pool side area and the wellness program at the Priya Spa that surrounds a central courtyard garden which is an ideal area for yoga sessions.
Activities and interests in and around the Neeleshwar Hermitage include cookery classes, tours to Bekal Fort, walks through the Western Ghats, backwater cruises, cycling and the Kubera Shop that sells clothing, Keralan art and cultural books.

Each is positioned to give occupants a sense of supreme privacy. The cottages are light and airy, with teak floors, high ceiling and generous proportions and embellished with locally handmade furniture and both antique and contemporary works of art from Kerala, and stereo system (ipod).

We provide Picnic breakfasts for morning outfit, including juice, fresh fruits, tea/coffee, eggs, muesli, toast and preserves. We will also provide water for the journey and snacks for evening outings.
Theyyam is a ritual dance performed in Malaber, north Kerala. Theyyam incorporates dance, mime and music and manifests the rudiments of ancient tribal cultures which attached great importance to the worship of heroes and the spirits of ancestors. It is exuberantly colourful where the performer is face and body painted by artists and is made ready for the ritual. It happens at the village temple where all the villagers gather to witness and be a part of the ritual. It is performed to beckon good health and prosperity.

The Annapurna restaurant, dedicated to the Goddess of Nourishment, is the centre of the site. Annapurna specialises in authentic, predominantly vegetarian food not usually seen in hotels. Our cooking skills are honed by ayurvedic teaching on the importance of attending to the appearance, balance, flavour, enjoyment and nutritional effects of any dish.
We also have a beachside restaurant, the Meenakshi, named after another local goddess. Here you can enjoy superb fresh fish caught by the local long boats that go out each morning, as well as breakfast, healthy lunchtime salads and delicious light meals.
