You will also learn much about the entire process that involves the production of tea from the factory to retail to exports. Lockhart tea estate where you will enjoy this experience is just 8 km away from Munnar; the Lockhart Gap offer splendiferous views of Bison Valley, so named after its population of Indian gaur, which is found plentifully here. Lockhart Gap is a popular picnic spot much loved for its views of the hills all the way up to Thekkady.
