Surrounded by lush green landscapes, Pikaia Lodge is an eco-lodge located in Santa Cruz, Galapagos. The property features elegantly designed rooms and suites with amenities such as direct-dial telephones, TVs, safes, minibars, tea/coffee-making facilities and balconies or terraces. Select suites have private plunge pools. The on-site Evolution Restaurant is furnished in a contemporary style with casual elegance and a subtle artistic touch inspired by the evolution of mankind. Additional amenities include a wine cellar, a lobby lounge and bar, an infinity pool and a spa.

Our pool suite, which only comes with a King bed, also has its own private plunge pool for guests to enjoy.
This beautiful and spacious suite is nestled on top of the small plateau of our main crater, conveniently close to the main building. This suite has panoramic floor to ceiling windows with access to a private shaded terrace and breathtaking unobstructed and spectacular views to the vast Pacific ocean and islands, to a unique dry savannah with volcanic mountains covered by mist forests. The views are a destination in itself.
Our garden suite, which only comes with a King bed, also offers a private garden for our guests.

The yacht cruise is a full-day program onboard Pikaia I Yacht. Private cabins are assigned and guests have the option to have breakfast onboard. On arrival on the island, the morning offers hiking or snorkeling activities until midday. Lunch buffet with traditional Ecuadorian food is served while the yacht sails to the next point of visit for an afternoon exploration.
Two hours before sunset the yacht sets sail for Pikaia Lodge. While sailing, our guests can rest, shower, or freshen up in their airconditioned private cabins, soak in the jacuzzi, watch a Galapagos documentary, join a discussion with guides, sunbathe or watch for seabirds or dolphins.

The yacht navigation is a full-day program onboard M/Y Pikaia I. Private cabins are assigned according to the room category reserved at the Lodge. Once guests have boarded Pikaia I, shortly after breakfast will be served. While exploring the island,our highly experienced naturalist guides will explain the history, evolution and science of not only the beautiful location, but also the incredible animals guests will encounter.
As the yacht navigates to the second island, guests will get changed into the wetsuits provided to take part in the snorkelling activity. Thereafter, guests can retreat to their air-conditioned private cabin to shower and freshen up before lunch is served. Approximately two hours before sunset the yacht makes its way back to Pikaia Lodge.

This excursion is designed to offer guided coastal fishing and snorkeling tour experiences around Santa Cruz island.
These boats will take a maximum of eight Pikaia Lodge guests on half-day tours, where Galapagos fishermen share their traditional fishing techniques.
Please note, this excursion is an extra activity charged separately.
Enjoy an early breakfast, and then embark on a morning exploration program. Each morning activity is planned according to satellite weather imagery and tidal charts. You will join a group of maximum 16 people for the land tour, two or three activities will be chosen from the list below.

If you prefer, you can relax and enjoy your day at the lodge. Mountain bikes, helmets, snorkelling equipment, and wetsuits are available without extra charge at the front desk or onboard the yacht. (Early pre-booking is recommended.)
