The Waterfront Village has the dramatic backdrop of Table Mountain, Cape Town and the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, with its cafes, restaurants and craft shops. This is a collection of apartments which range in size from 65 m² studios, to luxurious 350 m² penthouses. They have from one to three bedrooms, with the majority having two bedrooms. Each apartment is individually decorated but to a similar standard. So the Superior and Luxury apartments are similar in furnishings. The difference in price is due purely to their views. The luxury apartments having no major view. Whereas the superior apartments are overlooking the yacht marina. All the apartments are well- furnished with underfloor heating, air-conditioning, luxurious well-appointed kitchens, balconies and secure undercover parking.
The one and two bedroom apartments have en suite bathrooms. Three or four bedroom apartments will have three bathrooms but only two will be en suite. There are also three communal swimming pools at the Waterfront Village, one of which is heated. A fully equipped gym is also available for guests.
If you like the idea of having your own fully serviced apartment in Cape Town, the Waterfront Village at the V&A Waterfront is a great option. It offers the ultimate in flexibility - you can eat out or you can cook up something light, you can wear whatever you want and have breakfast when you feel like it. The extra space is great for families who like to spread themselves out a bit and yet it's serviced daily.

Guests have access to five swimming pools.
The first pool is located at the entrance of the Bannockburn blocks. Private and secluded with sun loungers and 3 water features cascading into the pool, the Carradale pool is a study in tranquility.
The second swimming pool is located at the entrance of the Ellesmere and Faulconie blocks. Bordering the waters of the canal, the smaller pool is adjacent to the Canal.
The third swimming pool is located on the 3rd level between the Juliette C and Kylemore A blocks, boasting breathtaking views of Table Mountain and Signal Hill.
The fourth swimming pool is located on the 3rd level between the Kylemore C and Lawhill blocks. Overlooking the One & Only Resort and island with villas.
The fifth swimming pool is a lap pool located on the roof of the Quaterdeck gym, with spectacular views of the marina yacht basin. Please note that a fee is applicable for the use of this swimming pool.
The Quarterdeck gym is centrally located. The facilities in the Quarterdeck gym include, state-of-the-art gym equipment including 2 tread mills, bicycles, rowing machines and more. There can’t be a better way to exercise than sitting on the rowing machine on the terrace, facing the splendid beauty of the marina.
The lap pool above the gym is a favourite with guests and is beautifully located, offering stunning views of the marina. Personal gym instructors are available by appointment and our concierge will gladly make this booking for you.
The gym is open from 07h00 to 20h00 seven days a week including public holidays. A gym access fee is payable at the Quaterdeck office, which will allow guests access to the gym as well as the lap pool above the gym.
