The Atitlan Nature Reserve serves as an excellent gateway to Lake Atitlán and its spectacular volcanoes. The reserve features numerous activities, which include zip lines, a butterfly preserve, trails, and hanging bridges. The ziplines allow participants to fly above waterfalls, coffee groves and steep cliffs that guard the lake. Some trails are ancient, many bridges unexpected, and all accompanied by the sounds of water, birds, and the wind.

At the Butterfly Geodome, visitors can enjoy the colours and forms of hundreds of butterflies surrounded by flowers and the sounds of water. Hummingbirds and the murmur of the river accompany guests while having lunch, coffee or a drink.
