Tapir Valley Nature Reserve is a private nature reserve located in northern Costa Rica. The reserve covers over 220 acres of primary and secondary rainforest and adjoins the Volcano Tenorio National Park. With over 8km of private hiking trails and three observation platforms, visitors will have plenty of opportunities to spot the endangered Baird's Tapir, sloths and a variety of birdlife. Facilities include a reception area with bathrooms and a parking space for cars and buses.
