Lying along the border of the Serengeti National Park and recognised as part of the Serengeti-Ngorongoro Biosphere Reserve, Maswa Game Reserve encompasses grassy plains, acacia woodlands and riverside groves. It shelters a diversity of wildlife, including lion, leopard, cheetah, hunting dogs, giraffe, and several migratory species, such as wildebeest, gazelle and zebra. The park’s varied – and often shaded – terrain makes it ideal for walking safaris.
