The International Maritime Museum is located between Speicherstadt and Hafencity in the city of Hamburg and is housed in the Kaispeicher B, the oldest standing warehouse in the port. The museum takes visitors on an expedition through 3.000 years of maritime history, detailing discoveries and telling stories of conquerors, captains and seafarers. On the 9 exhibition decks, visitors may explore the renowned maritime private collection of Prof. Perter Tamm, which is one of the largest worldwide.
