Majorda is located in the state of Goa on the west coast of India. This beachside town is only about 10 kilometres from the hub of Margao, and distinguishes itself from other destinations in the Salcete region with its resort-style accommodation and vibrant nightlife options. The centre of activity is the lovely Majorda Beach, offering water sports such as diving, snorkelling, stand-up paddleboarding and sea kayaking, with numerous shack-style bars and restaurants lining the shore. The high volume of Russian tourists in the region means that dining options are quite varied, with European dishes alongside traditional Konkani specialities. Finally, active travellers will relish cycling or even walking to the nearby beaches of Colva, Utorda and Betalbatim, which are quieter but offer fewer amenities.
