Located in the Limón Province of Costa Rica, Bribri is home to one of the most indigenous tribes in the Talamanca region. The villages are primarily self-sufficient, growing most of the crops they need, including bananas, cocoa beans and medicinal plants. Surrounded by lush rain forests, the area consists of community buildings, schools, shops, rustic homes on silts and conical houses as spiritual centres. Visitors to the area can enjoy visiting the Bribri Waterfalls, learning more about Bribri culture, and trying out some of Bribri's delicious indigenous food.
