The Eye of Kuruman, a natural spring, provides a daily supply of approximately 20 to 30 million litres of crystal-clear water. This abundant water source caters to Kuruman's domestic needs, nourishes the Kuruman River, and sustains two 7km irrigation canals. Encircled by willow and palm trees, the spring creates a picturesque pool hosting diverse aquatic life, including crabs and various fish, including a rare cichlid. The pool is adorned with water lilies, but fishing is strictly prohibited.
