The picturesque Lago San Pablo is nestled at the foot of the Imbabura Volcano, a short distance from the town of Otavalo in Ecuador. Surrounding the lake are reeds which are used by locals of the nearby local communities to make mats and carpets. The lake is home to a variety of flora and fauna species including ducks, herons, amphibians and aquatic plants. Visitors can look forward to activities such as boat cruising and horseback riding.
