MareBlu has repopulated the restoration area and increased the number of fish species from 4 to 57 in 3 years.

MareBlu has built and placed regenerative bell-type reefs that have boosted the ecological restoration of marine life in Playa Blanca and created a new tourist and scientific attraction in the area. The reefs provide shelter, food, and a breeding ground for various marine species.

This project aims to be replicated throughout the Gulf of Nicoya and to build a biological corridor that promotes ecology and fishing.
