A paradise for birdwatchers, the Punta Pitt is located on the northernmost tip of the beautiful San Cristobal Island. It is comprised of a long stretch of beach, crystal clear waters, a volcanic tuff and a long walking trail. It is a great place to observe two species of frigatebirds and three endemic species of boobies nesting and performing their mating rituals. Tourists will also spot several pelicans, gulls, lava lizards and sea lions. Views of the Charles Darwin statue and Kicker Rock can be seen from this site.
