Lawnwood Snake Sanctuary, situated in The Crags, just 18 km from Plettenberg Bay, showcases a collection of over 100 snakes and reptiles within a lush landscape rich in indigenous flora. Visitors can enjoy a guided tour beginning with species native to the Garden Route, before progressing northwards to view some of Africa’s most well-known snakes. The park focuses on educating visitors about commonly encountered species and dispelling myths associated with them. Over the years, it has also provided a home for a variety of unwanted or exotic reptiles.
