From your arrival at Zanzibar Airport, the resort is a meandering 45-minute journey through un-spoilt scenery, passing typical African villages where the way of life has changed little for hundreds of years.
At Ocean Paradise Resort & Spa, you will be greeted by a blaze of colors as you sweep down the imposing driveway passing through the entrance gate. Safari Blue
Safari blue is a full day tour trip where the guests goes out on the water with a boat to a sand bank and enjoys snorkeling surrounding the sand bank to see the reefs surrounding the sandbank. A fish lunch will be served on the sandbank. After lunch the guest will travel with a boat to the lagoon where they can swim and see the mangroves tree that grows in the water. The tour cost includes; Transfer from the hotel and back, lunch and minerals.
Transfer duration: 40 – 50 minutes from the resort.
Prison Island
Prison Island is a half day tour where the guests go to the island with a boat. There is a big tortoise what they can see on the island. After the tour through the island the guests is more than welcome to relax on the island and snorkel around the prison island to admire the reefs. The cost includes: Transfer from the hotel and back and minerals.
Transfer duration: 40 – 50 minutes from the resort.
Spice Tour
Zanzibar is famous for the island of spice. The spice tour is a half day tour where you can go to a spice farm and learn about the variety of spices and where the spice comes from. They will also explain to you in which food you can use what kind of spice. The cost of the tour will includes transfer from the hotel to the spice farm and back. Minerals will be provided on the tour.
Transfer duration: 40 – 50 minutes from the resort.
Dolphin Tours
The dolphin tour is a half day tour where the guest goes out on a boat at search for dolphins. There is 85% change to see the dolphins. If the guests see the dolphins than they can swim with the dolphins. After that swimming with the dolphins they take the guests to the beach area where the guest can snorkel around the beach and admire the reefs of Zanzibar. This tour cost includes transfer from the hotel and back and minerals.
Transfer duration: 1 hour – 1hour and 30minutes from the resort.
Stone Town
Stone Town is half day tour where the guests can admire the historical side of Zanzibar with a tour guide. Through the tour they show the guest where Freddy Mercury was born and grow up and they will give the guest more information about the route of Livingstone. There is also some shops if the guests would like to buy some gifts to take back home. Leave the Resort in the early afternoon; enjoy a sundowner at Africa House or Livingstone Bar. Visit the Local Food Market and try some Zanzibari specialties such as the infamous Zanzibar Pizza from 6.30 pm daily at Fouradani Gardens. For a great view and nice Italian food we recommend House of Spices.

Quad Bike
The Quad bike tour is only a half day tour where the guests can drive their own quads bike and enjoy a rich off-road-itinerary into wild landscape through local farms, sugar cane plantation, quarries, spice trees and baobab. The tour cost includes the transfer from the hotel and back
Horse Riding
The horse riding is a half day tour where they the guest take a walk along the beach of Kiwengwa for one hours, then they will stop for a little break during which they will serve a buffet of fresh fruits and juices, cakes and biscuits. They will return back to the ranch passing through local villages. The rate of the tour includes, the buffet, transfer from the hotel and back and minerals.

Parasailing
The parasailing is a half day tour where the can enjoy the excursion for 30-60min. The cost includes the boat ride and each person fly for 10min. All cost also includes transfer from the hotel and back.

Jet-Ski
The Jet-ski is half day tours where the guest can go on a safari with they own Jet Ski. The guest will go on a safari from Nungwi (Northen side of Zanzibar) to Tumbatu Island. They will cruise by the island and admire the pristine settings. During the tour your guide will give the guests 15min to relax and swim as 10min of free styling. The tour will continue on towards Kendwa and from there will cruise along the coastline back. The tour cost includes the transfer cost from the hotel to the located area.
Transfer duration: 30-45minutes from the resort.

The Ocean Restaurant, sitting two floors up, has panoramic views over the resort and the Indian
Ocean beyond. The Restaurant serves a sumptuous buffet breakfast with an array of freshly baked
breads, croissants and Danish pastries, cereals, fresh squeezed juices, local fruits, cold cuts and
cheeses and of course, traditional cooked dishes.
Down at the pool, the Jahazi Restaurant serves a variety of snacks and the best wood-fired pizzas in Zanzibar. The menu offers an a la carte selection of international and authentic Zanzibari cuisine lunch time.
At night time the pool side at Jahazi Restaurant changes into an open air restaurant under the African skies serving a variety of sumptuous buffet dishes themed differently every night, while being entertained by local entertainment from traditional African dancers, acrobats and local bands.
Set on a stunning beachfront location, Mawimbi Restaurant serves a selection of sumptuous
Zanzibar seafood and Swahili fusion creations. Incorporating traditional Zanzibar ingredients with
western influences for lunch to all our guests.
Mawimbi is the perfect setting for a romantic candle lit dinner or group dinner at an additional supplementary fee.
