Situated in the Heraklion regional unit, the town of Zaros is set in the heart of the Greek island of Crete. It serves as a great base from which to explore the beautiful island’s incredible landscapes including Mount Psiloritis and its scenic foothills, as well as the incredibly scenic Rouvas Gorge and its scenic hiking route known as the E4 European Walking Path. This little village is surrounded by rolling hills swathed in olive orchards.
