The town of Coffee Bay is best known for the Hole in the Wall, a striking geological feature was formed by waves crashing for thousands of years against a large rocky promontory, eventually eroding a hole through to the other side. It is both the subject of a traditional Xhosa legend and a popular tourist attraction that has become a Wild Coast icon, while the surrounding hills, beaches and oceans provide fabulous hiking, mountain biking, fishing, diving, surfing and swimming.
