The Lost City Golf Course, located at Sun City in South Africa’s North West Province, is an 18‑hole, par‑72 desert‑style course designed by Gary Player. Covering more than 100 hectares, it features wide fairways, rocky terrain, and extensive water hazards, including 28,000 square metres of lakes. One of its most distinctive features is the 13th hole, where the green is shaped like the African continent and guarded by live crocodiles, making it one of the most unusual courses worldwide. Facilities include a driving range, practice greens, a Pro Shop, club hire, and a halfway house. The Crocodile Lounge, overlooking the 9th and 18th holes, offers meals and refreshments with views of the bushveld.
