It supports over 50 community programmes across Cape Town, spanning food security, education, healthcare, shelter, skills development, sports, social services and animal welfare. Uthando (Love) South Africa’s Philanthropic Educational Excursions are deeply immersive, socially conscious experiences operating weekdays in Cape Town’s Cape Flats. Led by expert guides, participants gain a comprehensive understanding of South Africa’s history, particularly apartheid’s legacy, and the ongoing challenges in healthcare, education, housing and employment. Travellers visit three to four community-driven projects.
