Marine Dynamics Shark Cage Diving is based in Kleinbaai, near Gansbaai in the Western Cape of South Africa — a world-renowned destination for shark encounters in the wild.
Join our experienced crew and onboard marine biologists for an unforgettable adventure to observe these iconic predators in their natural environment. Along the way, you’ll learn more about shark behaviour, feeding, breeding and the important role they play in the marine ecosystem.

Marine Dynamics Shark Cage Diving is based in Kleinbaai, a small harbor town, part of Gansbaai in the Western Cape of South Africa. This area is known as a hotspot for different shark species and the best place in the world to see and dive with these iconic creatures in their natural environment.
Our marine biologists and expert crew members will not only show you where these mysterious and misunderstood predators hunt and hide, but they will also explain to you how and where they feed, breed and breach.
Pick-up from hotels, guesthouses, backpackers, vacation rentals, AirBnB's and any other points within. Please specify your pickup address. We can inform you if it is possible.
Please note that the timeslot selected is an estimated time for when the Shark Cage Diving boat will launch. Pickup time will be earlier to allow enough travel time from Hermanus to arrive for pre-trip briefing at the Great White House in Gansbaai. The exact times can only be confirmed a day prior, after a detailed weather and tide check. Please allow a full day in your itinerary for this activity.
