Onguma Plains, The Fort was the original Fort on Fishers Pan. It's built in exactly the right spot to give you probably one of the best sunset views in Namibia overlooking the beautiful wilderness of the Etosha Pans scattered with hundreds of camelthorn trees. The Fort has a classical African feel combined with a touch of Moroccan and India with antique windows and doors. There is a courtyard with a large water feature, a spacious lounge and open air dining room. The tower has views towards Etosha and Fisher's Pan. A large wooden deck has various seating areas and overlooks the waterhole.

Onguma Plains The Fort has 12 mini suites to the northern and southern sides of the fort. Every secluded suite is about 50 metres awaprt and has a main bedroom and dressing room area, all open plan and equipped with a bar fridge, telephone and an air cooling system. The bathroom has both an inside and outside shower area. Spacious wooden decks have an outside seating area with sun loungers for relaxing and enjoying the extraordinary view. The Fort Suite is situated inside the Main Tower of the main building and comprises a spacious bedroom, sitting area and private viewing deck.
