Selous River Camp is an award-winning safari lodge, set within woodland overlooking the awesome Rufiji River. Located bordering the vast Selous Game Reserve, this camp, which is known for its friendly and personal service, offers a choice of accommodation - featuring comfortable "mudhut" rooms with en-suite bathrooms and beautiful views over the river or more simple tents for the budget minded traveller. Guests are treated to meals prepared from fresh local produce and served in a thatched, open plan dining area, high on the riverbank. An authentic and intimate safari is experienced here, with game drives in open-sided safari cruisers, walking safaris through the Game Reserve and unforgettable boat safaris on the lakes of the Selous and the Rufiji river.

Simple canvas safari tents with twin beds located in the woodland area of camp. The bathrooms which have hot water showers and european flush toilet are a short distance from the tents and shared with other guests. Safaris available from the lodge.
