Babylonstoren lies in the Drakenstein Valley between Franschhoek and Paarl, and is surrounding by the Simonsberg, Dutoitskloof and Franschhoek Mountains. It is one of the best preserved traditional Cape Dutch farmsteads in South Africa, dating back to 1690, and spans eight acres of beautiful grounds inspired by Cape Town’s Company Gardens. More than 300 varieties of edible plants are grown here and harvested throughout the year to supply the restaurant. Enjoy a wine tasting session in Babylonstoren’s Wine Shed, with seven delicious varieties to try.
