The Hadzabe people are the most famous "first" people in Tanzania. Concentrated on the shores of Lake Eyasi, only 300 to 400 individuals (out of a community of 1,000) lead hunter-gatherers as their ancestors. Refusing to grow and breed animals, they live from day to day and from the fruit of their activities. The meeting with the Hadzabes will be accompanied by a Tanzanian guide that will also act as the indispensable interpreter and will allow participants to establish an exchange.
Guests will be welcomed upon arrival at the village and will then start with the daily activities, namely: picking and hunting. The Hadzabes are outstanding archers and although they do not always reach their target, their skill is very impressive. They usually hunt small mammals such as wild hares, rabbits or baboons, birds or even small antelopes. Aside from hunting, walking and interacting with these world leaders as they were thousands of years ago will be one of the highlights of the trip.
