Jim Jim Falls is a plunge waterfall on Jim Jim Creek that cascades over the Arnhem Land escarpment within the Kakadu National Park. Jim Jim Falls is located at the south end of Kakadu National Park and can only be accessed with a 4WD vehicle or on foot.
A very steep marked walking route, suitable only for very fit people, leads to the plateau above Jim Jim Falls. A return walk of just under 2km through a monsoon forest and over small and larger boulders leads to a deep plunge surrounded by 150-metre high cliffs where the falls pound the bottom during the Wet Season. During the dry season, July till October, Jim Jim Falls ceases to flow.
