Minshuku (Gassho Zukuri) is a traditional 400-year old Japanese farmhouse offering welcoming, basic accommodation with a few Western touches such as toilets and wash tops. The hosts live upstairs while the ground floor is reserved for guests. The rooms are clean and airy with futon beds and tatami mats, and the meals provided consist of hearty and wholesome Japanese dishes. The accommodation also provides clean towels and discount coupons for use at the onsen which is just down the road.
