Situated in the Brong-Ahafo Region of Ghana, Kintampo or Kintapo is a town surrounded by lush green jungle. Two exquisite and serene waterfall spots, at Fuller Falls and Kintampo Falls, offer peaceful locations for contemplation, picnicking, or enjoying a natural shower. The area is famous for its numerous cultural sites - visitors can see more than 30 ancient sites which exhibit traces of the civilisation which dates back to around sometime between 2500-1400 BCE. The historic community were pioneering in many ways, as they initiated farming and created unique tools and art, and produced excellent pottery. The town is home to various places of worship, facilities and accommodation options.
