Shai Hills Resource Reserve is a nature reserve located in Eastern Ghana. The reserve consists of savannah covered plains, grasslands and dry forests. It is home to mammals, reptiles and a wide variety of bird species. Visitors are recommended to visit in the early morning when kob, bushbuck and monkeys can be seen. While exploring the reserve, visitors also have the opportunity to view relics of ancient Shai settlements which can be found in caves. The reserve is open to visitors daily from 06:00 to 17:00.
