Pak Ou Caves, located about 25 kilometres north of Luang Prabang in Laos, are a pair of sacred caves overlooking the Mekong River. Visitors can explore the lower cave (Tham Ting) and the upper cave (Tham Theung), admire hundreds of Buddha statues, and enjoy a boat trip along the river to reach the site. Notably, the caves are famous for their collection of miniature wooden Buddha figures in various poses, many of which are centuries old, making them an important cultural and religious landmark in Laos.
