MS Nordlys is an expedition ship with a capacity for up to 590 passengers and decor inspired by the Northern Lights. Accommodation consists of cabins and suites, all equipped with a bathroom. Some units feature a living room, a sofa, a refrigerator and a television. There are two onboard restaurants, a bakery and a lounge bar. Additional amenities include a gym, a sauna, two outdoor hot tubs, observation lounges and Wi-Fi.
Expedition Suites are situated on the upper deck and feature seating areas with TV, bathrooms with shower/WC, and a minibar.
Arctic Superior cabins are situated on the upper deck and are each fitted with bathrooms with a shower and have separate beds, one of which converts into a sofa. In-room amenities include tea and coffee-making facilities and TVs.
Polar inside cabins are found on all decks and include bathrooms with a shower, separate beds with one doubling as a sofa.
Polar Outside cabins are situated mostly on the middle or lower decks and all have bathrooms with shower. The cabins feature separate beds, one of which is a sofa bed, or upper and lower berths.
