The Peguche Waterfall is an 18-metre high waterfall situated in a protected forest area in Otavalo. The waterfall is a popular tourist attraction and is also considered a sacred indigenous ceremonial site for purification rituals. There are well-defined trails that hikers can use as well as demarcated sites for activities such as camping and picnicking.
