Situated just off of the northwestern coast of Santa Cruz Island in the Galapagos Islands, Eden Islet is the remains of a volcanic tuff cone, formed when molten lava came into contact with the cold seawater. The little island is a small paradise that is home to a variety of wildlife that can be seen on land, in the air, and in the water. Visitors will be able to see a number of sea birds, including blue-footed boobies, as well as marine iguanas, sharks, turtles, and rays. The waters around the island are popular for snorkelling.
