One famous activity along the Garden Route is a visit to Birds of Eden, located along the popular tourist route "The Crags" offering a variety of leisure activities for the whole family. The bird park is a huge aviary, bursting with stunning plant species. Visitors will observe a variety of exotic and native birds. These include colorfully feathered, bright parrots, pelicans, storks and the blue crane - South Africans National Birds. Native birds include the Knysna Loerie, only found in South Africa.
