Families and kids are most welcome at Kariega Game Reserve offering kids programs during the day at Kariega Main Lodge and even opportunity to complete a Junior Ranger Certificate!

A variety of offerings include guided nature walks to explore nature, plants, insects and to learn more about animal tracks in the bush. Ranger and caretaker will share in child-friendly-way and by using natural items all young guests need to know about Africa’s fascinating wildlife. Arts and crafts like moulding tracks and creating bushman paintings are offered at the kid’s centre. Every child will receive a Kids on Safari booklet, with activities to complete in own pace.

While parents enjoy time after dinner, table tennis, books, toys, puzzles, and games are available at the Playroom.

Minimum age to enjoy morning and afternoon game drives with their parents (as well as the river cruise) is five years, below participation is the guide’s and General Manager’s discretion.
