An early start gets you out into one of Africa’s largest and most famous game reserves, where the early hours are prime time for wildlife activity. As dawn breaks over the vast savannah, you’ll set off with an experienced ranger to track the Big Five and a wide variety of other animals in their natural environment The game drive allows for close encounters and plenty of time to observe the rich diversity of Kruger’s wildlife.
Your experienced game ranger will explore various watering holes and lookout points throughout the day to increase the amount and variety of animals which you can encounter. Some of the animals you can discover include lions, antelope, buffalo and giraffes.
Your ranger will stop at local rest camps and picnic spots for breakfast and lunches and will also do regular stops so you can stretch your legs. After the safari, you will be returned to the lodge to continue your day, having beautiful memories of the Kruger National Park. You should bring sun cream, a hat, sunglasses, comfortable shoes, warm clothing in the winter months and a rain jacket in the summer months.
