Beng Mealea is an ancient Hindu temple, strategically located a few kilometres from Siem Reap.

The temple is lost in antiquity and can only be dated by its style of architecture. The complex is largely unrestored with a pyramid of stones lying in piles covered with a jungle of green moss.

There is a wooden bridge up and down through the complex, which offers great views of the ruins below.

The ruins give an idea of the magnificence and scale of the original temple, the views are so scenic and beautiful for photos.
