Facing the snow-capped peaks of Kilimanjaro and the endless African savannah, Kambi ya Tembo offers fantastic views. Sinya, a concession of about 600 square km, bordering Kenya at Amboseli National Park, offers spectacular landscapes with magnificent views of Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru, Ol Doinyo Longido and Ol Doinyo Orok. A unique nature and cultural experience.
The camp consists of 14 tents each with private en suite bathroom facilities. You can sit and watch the natural world pass by from the ample sun decks. The semi-arid land of Sinya and Elerai has an abundance of natural riches and is home to some of the largest elephants in East Africa.
Activities include game drives, walking safaris escorted by Maasai warriors, interaction with the local maasai including participation in ceremonies if available.

Depart to Mount Kilimanjaro National Park and enter the park at Londorossi Gate (approx. 45 minutes from Kambi ya Tembo). After finishing with the park formalities the drive continues to Shira Barrier on 3,300 Meter where the walk on Shira Plateau starts. Equipped with picnic-lunch and water the walk on the plateau crosses via Shira One Camp on 3,500 Meters and Shira Hut Camp on 3,840 Meter with the goal to reach Simba Cave, where the lunch will be taken. Enjoy fantastic views to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro if the weather allows. After lunch return to Shira Barrier and continue to your camp in West-Kilimanjaro
Late in the afternoon visit a traditional Maasai village where there is the opportunity of learning about how the Masais live.

During the walk one will become to know the interesting uses the Masai community makes out
from the nature.
The main house faces the Kilimanjaro mountain and the flood plains of Amboseli.
