Cenote Saamal is located within Hacienda Selva Maya, a short distance from Valladolid in Yucatán, Mexico. Visitors can swim in the freshwater cenote, snorkel, and take photographs of the natural setting and waterfall. A notable feature of the site is its depth of more than 50 metres and its location within a region where cenotes held cultural importance for the Maya civilisation. The attraction also forms part of the wider Hacienda Selva Maya complex, which offers visitor facilities and provides access to one of the area's well-known natural attractions.
