The Vine Hopper has 2 routes with each of the routes visiting 6 very different wine estates in the Stellenbosch region. The farms all have their unique styles and attractions that can be enjoyed while being on the Vine Hopper tour.
We collect you at any Guesthouse in Stellenbosch Town or at the Stellenbosch Tourism Information office.

Southern Route:
Some of the highlights of the Southern route include great wines at famous Neethlingshof, enjoying a Brandy Tasting tour at the Van Ryn Brandy Distillery where the cooper shows off his ancient art of barrel making, go pet a Eagle at Spier or just relax with a chocolate and wine tasting at Bilton wines. Kleine Zalze is always a great way to end the day with a delicious wine tasting overlooking the Stellenbosch Mountain

Northern Route:
On the Northern Route you could visit the Bergkelder with its spectacular maturation cellars below Pappegaaiberg, or have a relaxing lunch and tasting at Beyerskloof, famous for its Pinotage. Visit Simonsig with its great wine and views or Warwick , a great place for a picnic or Big5 Wine safari. Delheim will spoil you with hospitality and good wine.! Marianne is the last farm on the route and a great way to end the day with a glass of wine and views to be remembered

The Vine Hopper is the most cost effective way to experience the Stellenbosch Wine Route. You can then decide on what you want to do on the different farms and pay for tastings, tours or activities as you go along.

This is a great way to still be independent and not linked to a group but having the comfort of being transported, enabling you to enjoy your tastings at your own time without worries of how you are getting home!
