Six Senses Samui is set on a gently sloping headland at the northern tip of Samui Island. Six Senses' hideaway villa is a one-bedroom villa with views onto naturally landscaped gardens. The intimate and secluded villa offers partial ocean views over the Gulf of Thailand. Although there is no private pool, guests can enjoy a private deck complete with loungers and a setting for alfresco dining. There is one bedroom with a sitting area and a spacious bathroom.
The pool villa is located on the hill of the resort and features a private pool. Pool villas are at the highest point of the resort and offer a partial ocean view over the Gulf of Thailand. A private pool and a dining area are on the lower level. This villa is perfect for both couples and families travelling with children, as the lounge area can be transformed into a second bedroom. Panoramic views of the Gulf of Thailand can be enjoyed from the bedroom and from the private pool area, as this villa is located on the frontline parallel to the ocean.

Guests can take a bike out with Six Senses' experience team and explore the local neighbourhood of Plai Laem, visiting Plai Laem Temple, Big Buddha and Bangrak market. Not forgetting some pocket money to savour a local breakfast or some light shopping. Mountain bikes are freely available for guests' enjoyment. The hotel asks that guests wear helmets and remain vigilant, as Samui's streets have street dogs, loose gravel and the occasional pothole.
Guests can explore the island’s natural beauty and treasures with a personal driver, a prepared picnic hamper, and refreshments. There are various highlights along the 3-hour route, including the Big Buddha Temple, Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks, the Temple of the Mummified Monk, Na Muang Waterfalls and Fisherman’s Village.
Muay Thai is a form of martial arts that is both graceful and lethal. Practiced since ancient times, Muay Thai has become an integral part of Thailand’s cultural heritage. Guests will learn Thai boxing from an on-site trainer, who will teach them the basics and help evolve their techniques to a more advanced level.
The fitness boot camp is a physical training programme conducted by an in-house personal trainer. These programmes are designed to build strength and fitness through a variety of intense group intervals within a one hour period of time. It commences with dynamic stretching and running around the resort’s buggy path, followed by a wide variety of interval training, including lifting weights/objects, pulling TRX straps, push-ups/sit-ups, plyometrics, and various types of intense explosive routines in the O2 Gym. The session ends with yoga stretching to cool the body down.
For guests in search of an adventurous activity in the early morning, a sunrise kayaking trip to Koh Som is a perfect option. The team will lead the way to the neighbouring island and guests will take in beautiful views of the sun rising.
Guests will sail along the beaches of Samui, relax onboard one of the authentic Thai junks and enjoy the sunset while admiring Six Senses Samui from the sea.
Most of the islands consist of limestone mountains about 30 to 1300 feet above sea level. Because the limestone can change its structure easily, by both chemical condition and weather, the islands have developed many strange-looking caves and cliffs. In the national park, guests can enjoy snorkeling, kayaking, stunning viewpoints overlooking the Emerald lake and the surrounding islands.
Guests can explore the underwater world in the Gulf of Thailand. Whether guests are experienced divers or beginners, they can enjoy a professional and safe service. Guests will board a fast, safe and reliable dive boat, steering clear of the crowds at the dive sites. The trip is comfortable and uncrowded, with the maximum number of divers limited to 10.

In the Thai culture class, guests will learn more about Thailand, its history and some useful Thai words in a short period of time. They will also get to sample different dishes from various parts of the country at the end of the class.
Guests can join the team for beach and temple cleaning activities. Outings are scheduled on a regular basis.
