Welgevonden is set in the shadow of the ancient Waterberg mountains just three hours from Johannesburg, and is home to more than 65 mammal species, including the Big Five. This rich and diverse variety of wildlife traverses a captivating landscape that guests can explore through twice-daily game drives or observe from the shaded veranda at the lodge. Ekuthuleni Lodge offers guests a classic safari experience in one of five elegant, freestanding suites. With traditional thatched roofs and beautiful stone work, these spacious units feature king-sized beds, an en-suite bathroom with indoor/outdoor shower and a large bathtub, and private outdoor terrace overlooking the plain.
This thoughtfully appointed family suite features a king-sized bed with en-suite bathroom as well as twin beds on the mezzanine level that can accommodate up to two children, aged 6 and up.
