Lake Salda, located in Burdur Province in southwestern Türkiye, is famed for its turquoise waters and white sandy shores. Visitors can swim at designated beaches, camp nearby, hike through pine forests, or even dive in its clear depths. Notably, the lake is the third deepest in Türkiye at 184 metres, rich in magnesium, and has geological similarities to Mars’ Jezero crater.
