The Clérigos architectural complex, classified as a National Monument since 1910, is one of the main points of interest in Porto. The Church and the Tower are part of an 18th-century Baroque-inspired building, which marked the urban setting of the city, located on an uneven street, but brilliantly used by Nicolau Nasoni, who managed to create a reference building. The Church and the Tower are united by the Casa da Irmandade, which since 2014, after being turned into a museum, has been open to the public.
