Millennium Camp is a simple, high-altitude stop on Mount Kilimanjaro, used by climbers descending from the summit. Accommodation consists solely of personal sleeping tents pitched on open ground, with no permanent structures, ensuite bathrooms, or fixed furnishings available. Basic shared toilet facilities are provided, including W.C. units and pit latrines. There are no formal leisure amenities such as dining tents or lounges; instead, climbers rest, take meals prepared by their crew, and reflect on their achievement. Activities are limited to trekking, recovery, and enjoying expansive views, offering an authentic, stripped-back wilderness experience focused on endurance, nature, and solitude.
