This tour is very specific and dynamic, it takes place in a Traditional Community of Salvador together with the Association of Cooks & Confectioners (ADOCCI), formed by ladies from the Community itself who cook and teach the art of gastronomy for lovers of good cuisine. The Community is 30 minutes away from the City Center by car. Upon arrival, be presented with a short story of the social projects developed. Next, visit a local market to get some ingredients that will be used at the class. Returning to the headquarters, the cooks will begin the class teaching the participants how to prepare a Moqueca Mista (local stew with dendĂȘ palm oil, fish and shrimp) and a typical dessert. At the end of the class, indulge in a delicious lunch that prepared by yourself. This moment serves as a good opportunity to exchange information about the life of the cooks and the local guides who know everything about the reality of the community.
