Chef Simone Almeida has been offering Brazil’s premier cooking class since 2009. Her job is not just to teach delicious Brazilians recipes, but to explain Brazilian culture through food. Depending on the day’s recipe you will learn a few Brazilian drinks (caipirinha and batida de coco), and a few appetizers like coalho cheese with pepper jam and flambéed sausage with onion, before you start on the main dish, which can be Moqueca (fish) or Feijoada (pork), served with rice and banana crumbs. Vegetarian versions of Moqueca and Feijoada can be made. For dessert, brigadeiro or an exotic fruit.

It is included a visit to a supermarket or a street fair (50min) where the Chef will explain and show Brazilian products that are not easily found abroad.

*Private classes only. Possible for lunch or dinner.

Please note: This activity does not operate on Sundays. The class can be adapted for kids and vegetarians.
