Set on Madagascar’s southern tip in the Androy Region, the little fishing village of Lavanono is known for its ecotourism. Aside from surfing up a storm, visitors can also enjoy the long unspoilt beaches lapped by warm waters and venture to the special nature reserve of Cap Sainte Marie, which is home to one of the largest concentrations of turtles in the world.
