Quiet and serene, Seririt lies on the north shore of Bali, and functions predominantlyas a stopover point for people travelling through. The market at the centre of thetown has a huddle of colourful stalls selling provisions for religious offerings. If youdecide to spend a bit of time in the area, there are scenic waterfalls and fascinatingtemples to visit in close proximity. Surrounding attractions include the Banjar hotsprings, where a warm soak is welcome in the chillier highland climes. Respectfulvisitors are also welcome for a meditation session at the Brahma Arama Vihara, aBuddhist monastery, which although beautiful, is quite incongruous in Hindu Bali.
